Adam Davies, the statutory maintenance manager for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, stated that,
"Being the type of organisation that we are, we've got a lot of critical assets that are in pretty dangerous environments [such as] digesters, reservoirs, tunnels and culverts, where it's important that we inspect them, but doing that safely is very difficult. That's where the Elios 3 will come in. It's giving us a platform to add to our fleet where we can get into those dangerous environments and capture all of the data that we need."
