The Mini 5 Pro is the current flagship of the DJI Mini series. It introduces a 1-inch CMOS sensor, forward-facing LiDAR for nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing, a 225° gimbal with true vertical shooting, and 4K/120fps slow-motion video — all at under 249g. The upgraded O4+ transmission, dual-band GNSS, and 42GB of internal storage make it the most fully featured compact drone DJI has produced.

The Mini 4 Pro is DJI's most capable mini camera drone before the launch of the Mini 5 Pro. It pairs a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with omnidirectional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack 360° with Manual Mode, and 4K/60fps HDR video — features that previously required a much heavier aircraft. Both drones support ActiveTrack 360°, QuickShots, and a range of intelligent shooting modes. The Mini 5 Pro extends this with a 225° flexible gimbal rotation — enabling true vertical shooting without cropping, upward angles on tall structures, and creative rotating movement previously limited to larger aircraft. With off-state QuickTransfer via Wi-Fi 6, footage transfers at up to 100 MB/s without unpacking the drone.
