DJI Mavic 3 Thermal
The DJI Mavic 3 Thermal (M3T) is a compact, portable commercial drone designed for quick and easy aerial inspections. It features 48MP wide, 12MP 56x hybrid zoom, and 640 x 512 thermal cameras, allowing users to see the unseen with ease. The 56x zoom capability allows for clear imagery at a distance, which is essential for detailed inspections of high and hard-to-reach areas. The 640 x 512px thermal camera helps detect heat anomalies and potential faults in infrastructure, such as cracks, leaks, and damp spots. With a 45-minute flight time, the M3T can perform long-duration inspections efficiently, reducing the need for frequent recharges and maximising operational time on site.
Software and Training
Coptrz delivered a thermography course to the Diocese team, ensuring they could effectively operate the drone and interpret thermal images accurately.
