How the GX1's integrated RTK positions the trajectory, what it needs from a base or network correction, and what happens to the data when the signal is not there.

Where control still matters, how check points are used to demonstrate the result to a client, and what a sensible verification routine looks like on a real job.

Where mobile mapping is the right call, where a static scanner or total station still wins, and how teams combine them on the same site rather than choosing one.

A Grade I listed manor house designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, set in 32 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland. Chosen deliberately over a conference room: the mix of period interiors, modern extensions, courtyards and open grounds gives the GX1 exactly the kind of environment that makes a static scanner hard work.
Centrally placed between Southampton and Portsmouth, with free parking on site and no city centre to navigate on the way in.
