Pix4D is the leading UAV photogrammetry software, specifically designed for users who want to make 3D maps and point clouds from data captured during a drone flight. The Pix4Dmapper Essential online course will give you a thorough and deep understanding of Pix4D and how to use the software to give you the data output that you require. The crash course is ideal for those with either no previous experience using the software or those with some basic working knowledge who which to extends their knowledge.
About the Pix4Dmapper Essentials online course
The standard online course costs £145 + Vat or £245 + Vat if you’d like to take advantage of the Course + Exam bundle. Expect the online course to take up to 12 hours to complete the through a combination of videos, quizzes and working through a course workbook.
By the end of the course you’ll be able to:
✓ Produce accurate 2D and 3D georeferenced representations of reality, including orthomosaics and 3D models.
✓ Acquire accurate measurements
✓ Share your deliverables with stakeholders
What are the benefits of adding the Certification exam?
If you like the certification at the end you’ll need to complete a 60 question multiple-choice exam which takes approximately an additional 2-hours (1 attempt). The exam is designed to test your experience in applying Pix4Dmapper concepts and processes to workflows through multiple-choice questions.
To pass you’ll need to demonstrate comprehension of essential Pix4Dmapper concepts, including data acquisition, measurements, editing and visualization tasks. You’ll be proficient in best practices and uses of Pix4Dmapper software which will be demonstrated by your certificate.

When does the course start?
The course is entirely online and self-paced – you decide when you start and when you finish. We’d allow up to 12-hours to complete the full course.
What software and hardware will I need?
– A reliable internet connection to download the course materials.
– A computer that meets the minimum hardware requirements to process projects. You can check if your computer supports the software by processing a free dataset.
– A license to the software to access its full functionality.What is the difference between online self-paced and instructor-led training?
Online self-paced courses offer standardized content and economical pricing. Access the content anytime and anywhere, and contact the Training team for any questions you might have through the in-built messaging system. The interaction is not live but you can expect a prompt answer. Instructor-led training, whether hosted in-person or online, provides a realtime explanation and demonstration by a Pix4D technical trainer. Whether in a group or in a private setting, questions can be asked live.
