Altum-PT is equipped with a high-resolution 12.4 MP panchromatic sensor that permits "pan-sharpening" of multispectral imaging, hence enhancing the spatial resolution of multispectral data: Pan-sharpened ground resolution of 1.25 cm per pixel / 0.47 in per pixel when flying at 60 m / 200 ft.
Its exceptional resolution makes it the ideal sensor for plant-level machine-learning applications, such as counting early-stage crops. In addition, it has a global shutter for distortion-free images, open APIs, and a novel storage device that permits up to two captures per second.
The 320 x 256 FLIR Boson® thermal sensor enables precise thermal maps with a GSD of 17 cm / 6.7 in at a flight height of 60 m / 200 ft.

Synchronized Thermal and Multispectral Capture
The simultaneous acquisition of multispectral, thermal, and panchromatic bands avoids the requirement for post-processing data alignment and provides high-resolution outputs including RGB colour, NDVI, NDRE, and CIR.
Calibrated Multispectral Imagery
Each Altum-PT camera package includes a Reflectance Panel and a DLS2 light sensor for irradiance and sun angle measurements. These radiometric calibration techniques accommodate varying weather and lighting conditions, delivering more precise, trustworthy data that allows time series evaluation and output comparability throughout time.
Maximum capture rate of 2 images per second
Altum-PT utilises CFexpress, a 2 TB external storage that provides up to two captures per second*, the immediate turnaround time between flights by swapping cards, and quick card-to-computer upload speeds for more effective data handling.
