The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual blazes the trail for Commercial Drone Businesses wanting to access multiple sectors.

Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual

In the ever-growing drone market, trying to choose the right drone for your business can almost certainly leave you confused, lost and drowning in a mass of information. There are many current drones on the market (Parrot Anafi, Mavic Mini, Mavic Standard, M200, M210), but one offering that stands out above the rest is the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual. This drone may be small when compared to others on the market, but don’t let that put you off as this little terrier of the sky has a bite bigger than its bark! Being a smaller drone though does have its advantages;

  • compact and easy to store therefore saving space
  • easily carried/transported to remote areas without the use of vehicles
  • fit and access small spaces and tight spots
  • can be operated from small take-off/landing areas

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual is ideal for a Business start-up Drone, this versatile quad-copter packs a lot of features that can be utilised across various sectors thanks to an additional set of accessories that are carried over from the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise. The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual includes a dual camera that houses two lenses – standard visual (zoom) and FLIR (Forward Looking Infra-Red) – speaker, floodlight, and beacon. The drone itself features the standard DJI Mavic style fold-out arms which provide a quicker setup time and deployment, within minutes if the situation requires. Some examples of sectors that this drone would be used for are; SAR (Search and Rescue), Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Coastguard), Commercial, Private and Industrial Inspections (visual and thermal), Restricted Area Control, Film production, aerial photography and many more!

This drone may be in the higher price range compared to others in the smaller drone market such as the Mavic Mini or Mavic 2 Pro but that is reflected in the features and advanced technology. Additional features such as the flight app and the great dual-camera mean you don’t have to land to change camera as you do with the larger Drones and can swap between both views during flight. The FLIR camera and software allows the operator to measure temperatures and store the images and temperature data for reporting and analysis.

Some of the features include the advanced obstacle avoidance system reduces the risk of accidental contact with other objects improving the safety of each flight, Data Security, GPS timestamping, DJI AirSense, Ocusync 2.0 to name a few…. A great feature that DJI has put some thought into is the inclusion of a Discreet Mode, this allows you to turn off the LEDs when performing a night mission to ensure you are not being obtrusive to anyone during your flight.
