Session 1
Welcome to Coptrz Commercial Drone Exhibition | 09:15 – 09:30
The doors are open and it’s finally here! Get ready as we start a day of back-to-back seminars, speeches, and demonstrations. Make sure to arrive early, as there’s no time to waste.
The Benefits of Medium Format Sensors for UAV Applications – PhaseOne | 09:45 – 10:15
This one is for you if you perform a high volume of inspections on complex assets and landscapes. PhaseOne sensors provide some of unrivalled high resolution, advanced AI capabilities, rugged build quality, and robust integration systems that fit seamlessly onto your DJI Matrice 300 RTK.
James Wardlow, PhaseOne‘s Technical Manager for EMEA, explains how using medium format sensors for aerial mapping will increase productivity and decrease time spent on aerial mapping operations.
Autonomous photogrammetry made simple using ANAFI Ai – Parrot | 10:30 – 11:00
Data collection can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. The ANAFi Ai from Parrot makes photogrammetry more accessible than ever before. To begin the mission, simply tap once. Even better, data collected in flight is uploaded to PiX4D via 4G!
Andy Sparshott, Parrot‘s European Programmes Coordinator, walks you through the on-site workflow of using the Parrot ANAFI Ai, demonstrating how to reduce mission times and increase cost efficacy while capturing accurate point-clouds and photorealistic 3D Meshes.
Hovermap: Flexibility, speed, and repeatable precision – Emesent | 11:15 – 11:45
The amount of time needed to collect reliable data can be enormous… until now
The Emesent Hovermap has been used by drone operators for thousands of survey hours, making it the most proven LiDAR mapping and autonomy solution for GPS-denied environments.
Because of its adaptability, the Emesent Hovermap can be used for walking, vehicle, backpack-mounted, and drone-mounted surveys. This adaptability has been a major factor in the Hovermap’s rapid rise to become one of the industry’s most widely used tools, allowing you to complete jobs faster and move on to the next.
Charles Jennings, Technical Specialist at Emesent, explains how to best utilise Emesent Hovermap to complete LiDAR scans of both internal and external environments in less time.
Increasing data accuracy using Network RTK – Premium Positioning | 12:00 – 12:30
Any mapping or surveying operation necessitates accuracy and precision. When deploying a drone for either purpose, GPS correction technology provides pinpoint location information. Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) and Post-Processing Kinematics (PPK) are two emerging and developing techniques for accomplishing this.
Real Time Kinematic (RTK) is a GPS correction technology that provides real-time corrections to location data while a drone is surveying a site and capturing images.
Join Ben Gumbrill, UK Sales Manager for Premium Positioning, to learn how you can increase the reliability and accuracy of your data via premium RTK GNSS networks.
Session 2
WingtraOne GENII: Removing limits from mapping – Wingtra | 13:15 – 13:45
Drone-based surveying has a lot to offer GIS professionals. A drone can conduct topographic surveys of the same high quality as traditional methods, but in a fraction of the time, lowering the cost of a site survey and the workload of field specialists.
When used for cadastral surveys, the WingtraOne GENII can reduce data-collection operators by up to 8x that of a quadcopter and 2x that of competing fixed wings.
Join Wingtra’s Drone mapping and reality modelling expert Matthieu Lefebvre as he explains how combining aerial and terrestrial data for mapping can be an ideal solution for creating comprehensive, accurate 3D models.
Elios 3: Digitalising the inaccessible – Flyability | 14:00 – 14:30
Organisations are looking to deliver digital transformations of their industrial processes in order to improve the safety and efficiency of operations.
Flyability has pioneered and continues to lead the innovation in the commercial indoor drone space. The company is committed to rigorous R&D and is a driving force behind the widespread adoption of drone-based technology as an alternative to traditional visual inspection methods that endanger human lives.
The ELIOS 3 is Flyability’s newest tool for safely and effectively completing confined space inspections, designed to meet the demands of the most demanding environments.
Join Inga Khchoyan, Area Sales Manager at Flyability, to understand the capabilities of the Elios 3 for mapping areas that are out of reach or too dangerous for humans is difficult but essential for supporting operational decisions.
DJI Matrice 30 Series: Power in Portability – DJI/COPTRZ | 14:45 – 15:15
We’ve seen many times where a heavy drone with an expensive payload is required to produce high-quality output. This can also result in lengthy set-up times, which pilots may not be able to afford in an emergency. This is no longer the case. DJI’s new Matrice 30 Series provides enterprise-grade functionality that is ready to help in the most rugged and harsh environments.
These new drones are certain to be useful to professionals in a variety of fields, including inspection, policing, search and rescue, and firefighting, thanks to powerful performance, advanced sensors, and compact design.
Join Sam Denniff, Head of Public Sector at COPTRZ, as he examines why the DJI Matrice 30 Series is now a must-have tool for providing timely and dependable data across a diverse range of industries.
Double the possibilities: Combining photogrammetry and LiDAR for aerial and terrestrial mapping | PiX4D | 15:30 – 16:00
Combining aerial and terrestrial data for mapping is the ideal solution for creating detailed, accurate 3D models. Terrestrial mapping is ideal for implementing what drones cannot capture, and the most recent Pix4D software can seamlessly merge aerial and terrestrial data via an easy and intuitive workflow.
Terrestrial mapping is ideal for implementing what drones cannot capture, and the most recent Pix4D software can seamlessly merge aerial and terrestrial data via an easy and intuitive workflow.
PiX4D presents the entire workflow for creating a detailed 3D model in this presentation. Nate Moore, Senior Product Manager at PiX4D, walks you through the entire process, beginning with aerial data acquisition and terrestrial mapping with the viDoc and PIX4Dcatch and ending with data combining and processing with PIX4Dmatic and vectorisation and automatic feature extraction in PIX4Dsurvey.
You will learn how this solution can help your mapping business grow by providing more efficient mapping capabilities, advanced automation, and more options and tools for detailed reconstruction.
Control room-operated drones flying BVLOS and BRLOS for first responders – Lorenz Technology | 16:15 – 16:45
Drones and software solutions can greatly improve security operations. The guard and control centre (SOC) can track the drone’s movements in real time by creating pre-designed perimeter flights on the accessible cloud platform. This directly contributes to a safer workplace and allows the guard to respond quickly in the event of abnormalities or emergencies.
Keeping an eye in the sky during operations also provides a valuable data archive on the Lorenz Hive cloud platform. The information gathered can be used to assess operations and identify opportunities for workflow improvement.
Join Kristian Skaarup, CEO of Lorenz Technology, to learn how incorporating intelligent drones into daily operations can improve security, safety, and surveillance tasks.
Commercial Commercial Drone Networking Hub | 17:30 – 18:30
And finally, spend this time networking and mingling with other likeminded experts, potential suppliers, and key industry figures. Start conversations, swap stories, share experiences and nurture new partnerships to propel our industry forward.
Take advantage of this rare opportunity and embrace the exclusive access to a one-of-a-kind platform where both quality and number of relationships are highly achievable.
