We caught up with Junio Palomba of Flyability at our Drone Demo Day in Dunchurch – It was a pleasure to hear his thoughts on the industry and how he’s reducing risk with drone inspections.
I’m Junio Valerio Palomba I’m the team manager for EMEA for Flyability and I am very glad to have taken part today at the Demo Day for Coptrz.
I was very impressed with some footage I was shown today featuring a sewer inspection. This is by far and large one of the most widespread applications here in the United Kingdom. Infrastructures are key and they are often overlooked in how critical they are for inspections. It’s really remarkable that drones provide a solution to inspections that otherwise simply could not have been performed. It’s very interesting to see how the value of the drone rises exponentially the more remote or dangerous the area it is to inspect is.
Personally I’m very proud of what Flyability and Coptrz has achieved in the UK market, the response to Elios 2 has been tremendous, we’re looking forward to capitalising even more on this partnership and working together with inspection companies and asset owners alike to make sure that we can reduce as much as possible human entry and risk with the inspection of confined spaces.
